Drinking for Two: Fetal Alcohol Symdrome informs women for Red Ribbon Week or Alcohol Awareness Program

The story of a young pregnant woman who was pulled in by the lie that drinking and smoking during her pregnancy was “no big deal”.  Today, her son Kameron, an innocent victim of fetal alcohol syndrome, stands as the embodiment of that horrible lie.  Since Kameron is unable to speak for himself, his adoptive mom graphically discloses what it’s like to walk in Kameron’s shoes.  His biological mother, who is now working in a program of progress through AA, also shares her pain and her guilt.  She offers strength and hope to other students who are sexually active and relives her testimony for their benefit as well as the benefit of the unborn.  Grades 9-Adult
