THC Simulation Program Kit

Incorporate the five (5) activities included in this kit to deliver an interactive experience that emphasizes the impact of the cognitive impairments associated with driving under recreational THC’s influence.

The Fatal Vision Marijuana/THC Goggle impairs a person‘s ability to perceive color (NOTE: someone under the influence of marijuana DOES NOT lose their ability to distinguish between colors). We use this goggle feature to model a loss of capacity to make quick and accurate decisions, one of the main recreational marijuana/THC’s impairing effects. For an impaired driver, this loss could lead to a crash.

The program kit includes five activities to use with the THC goggles as well as instructional materials and videos. The activities give participants an understanding of the potentially severe consequences that can result from recreational THC use.
