Swab Test Training Model

Swab Test Training Model is specifically designed for the training and demonstration of nasopharyngeal swab testing, which is used for the diagnosis of COVID-19, the flu, and other viral and some bacterial respiratory infections. The cast model features a head that is tilted back slightly for easier access to the realistically sculpted nasal passages as well as a clear Plexiglas front that facilitates student observation of procedures. A nasopharyngeal swab can be passed through the model’s nasal cavity to the recommended depth for testing. For demonstration of strep testing, a standard tongue depressor can be inserted into the model’s mouth and over the tongue, which is made of flexible, lifelike BIOLIKE™ synthetic material for a realistic feel. The model features openings to the sculpted nasal and oral cavities. A nasopharyngeal swab can be passed through the nasal passage, and a standard tongue depressor can be inserted into the mouth to depress the fleshlike tongue and demonstrate strep testing. The see-through Plexiglas cover enables viewers to watch as procedures are demonstrated.
